The July meeting of AAF Jackson was a “Salute to Excellence,” where members who received ADDY Awards at the district and national levels were presented with their trophies. Dollarhide Film and Maris, West & Baker received the accolades for their creative work.
In addition, AAF District 7 and AAF National Club Achievement Awards were presented to those involved in entering the competitions. AAF Jackson received six First Place awards and one Second Place award at the District 7 competition thanks to the efforts of Becky White, Tracy Duncan, Amanda Fontaine, Megan Harris and Cindy Minton. AAF Jackson also received the District 7 Governor’s Award for Excellence in Public Service and AAF District 7 Club of the Year. Our president, Becky White, was named AAF District 7 President of the Year.
At the AAF national Club Achievement competition, AAF Jackson received two First Place Awards and one Third Place award. Becky White, Tracy Duncan and Amanda Fontaine were recognized for these achievements.
The program was completed by Amanda Fontaine, AAF District 7 Governor-elect, installing the new officers and directors of AAF Jackson, with Megan Harris now serving as our president.
