2013-2014 ENTRY FEES:

AAF Jackson Members:
Professional Single Entry: $75.00
Professional Campaign Entry: $90.00

Non-Members:
Professional Single Entry: $120.00
Professional Campaign Entry: $135.00

Students:
All student entries are $35.00

 

ENTERING THE COMPETITION:

Entries are due January 10, 2014 and must be delivered to Magnolia Federal Credit Union’s offices (3rd floor of the Strayer University Building on Briarwood) between 4:00-6:00 p.m. Remember, you must submit two copies of work with each entry in order for your work to be displayed at the Awards show. A printed manifest/invoice must be submitted with your entries.

ABOUT THE COMPETITION:

  • LOCAL: AAF Jackson’s 2014 American Advertising Awards Show—The Roaring ADDYs will be held Friday, February 7, 2014 at 6:00 at the Old Capitol Inn located at 226 N. State St., Downtown Jackson. Ticket information will be made available soon. Entries are due January 10th and must be delivered to Magnolia Federal Credit Union’s offices (3rd floor of the Strayer University Building on Briarwood) between 4:00-6:00 p.m.
  • DISTRICT: 2014 District Addy judging will be in March 2014 and the winners will be notified. The District ADDY awards show will be at the District 7 Spring Convention April 10-13 in Birmingham, AL.
  • NATIONAL: The 2014 National ADDY awards will be at ADMERICA, May 28-31, in Boca Raton, FL. > See the 2013 National Winners

How do I access the online entry system?
Use these links for the professional and student competition to access the online entry system and create an account.

Is this the same system as last year, because I hated that system?
NO! We hated last year’s system too. This is a new system. You’ll need to set-up your account again. AAF National severed all ties with the developer. So, please, we ask for your patience again, but please setup a new account.

How many copies of work do I submit with my entry?
Two copies of the work should be submitted with each entry. Only entries that submit two copies will be on display at the Awards Show.

Do I have to enter my work online or can I just bring stuff to you?
All entries must be submitted online. However, a printed list of your entries along with your physical entries (including printed work and cd’s with digital work) must be brought to ADDY drop-off on January 10, 2014.

What if all of my entries are digital entries, do I still have to come to ADDY drop-off? What about websites?
A printed list of your entries along with your digital entries on cd must be brought to ADDY drop-off on January 10, 2014. If you are submitting a website, a screenshot of the website must be printed and submitted as you would submit a physical entry. No cd of the website is required. Remember to submit two copies of the work/screenshots with each entry.

When and Where is ADDY Drop-Off?

From Lakeland Drive: Take I-55 North. Take the Briarwood exit and turn left at the traffic light.Strayer Building is on your right across from Chili’s. Enter the building and elevators are straight down the hall. Go to the third floor and take a left off the elevators. Magnolia Federal Offices are at the end of the hallway.

How will I know if I won?
All ADDY winners will be notified during the week of January 20-24, 2014. To learn what you what won or who the “Best of Show” winners are, you’ll have to come to The Roaring ADDYs on February 7th. Ticket information will be made available soon.
